Lyonsview Health and Rehabilitation Center is located in Knoxville, TN. We are looking to hire a Staff Development Coordinator / Central Supply to assist with staffing competencies and development for our nursing employees. As the Staff Developement Coordinator, you will also manage the facility central supply to ensure all supplies are ordered, organized and accounted for. A Staff Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in an organization's success by ensuring that employees have the tools and support they need to grow and perform at their best.
This position is full time working Monday - Friday day time hours.
Job Requirements:
- Must be an LPN in the state of TN
- Experience in Healthcare- LTC preferred
- Communication Skills
- Organizational Skills and attention to detail
Job Responsibities May include:
- Assessing Training Needs: Identifying areas where employees need further development and aligning training programs with the organization's goals.
- Designing Training Programs: Creating or sourcing relevant training content and activities. This could be for skill development, leadership training, technical skills, or compliance training.
- Coordinating Workshops & Sessions: Organizing and scheduling workshops, seminars, or online courses. This also involves working with external trainers or subject matter experts if necessary.
- Monitoring & Evaluating Progress: Tracking the effectiveness of training programs, collecting feedback, and making improvements as necessary.
- Employee Engagement & Motivation: Encouraging employees to participate in development opportunities and creating a culture of continuous learning.
- Budget Management: Ensuring that training programs stay within budget while meeting organizational needs.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining records of employee training progress, certifications, and professional development.
- Collaborating with Management: Working closely with department heads and HR to understand the specific development needs of different teams.
