Vendor Manager, Lyra Technology Group
Lyra Technology group is looking for a Vendor Manager to support our portfolio’s relationship with external suppliers. In this role you will identify potential vendors, negotiate contracts, ensure compliance with company standards, monitor performance against key metrics, and foster collaborative partnerships to optimize costs and value for our organization.
Your Work As a Vendor Manager Has Several Components
- Develop a clear roadmap for cost reduction, vendor consolidation (where beneficial), and negotiation strategies, ensuring alignment with security, technology, and AI teams to define the ideal tech stack
- Achieve meaningful cost reduction through renegotiation of vendor agreements
- Identify top vendors, their key points of contact, and potential cost-saving opportunities across all Lyra Operating Companies
- Conduct a deep annual procurement audit to assess all vendor agreements across Lyra’s businesses
- Implement a quarterly review and action plan, ensuring the Regional CEO team is aware of savings opportunities and tracking adoption of optimized pricing
- Develop an efficient and low-friction process for Operating Companies to switch vendors, reducing barriers to adoption of preferred agreements
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with top 15 vendors
- Partner with CEO & Chief Transformation Officer to lead high-impact vendor negotiations, ensuring Lyra maximizes purchasing power
- Track vendor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as quality, delivery time, cost savings, and compliance
- Ensure vendors adhere to contract terms, SLAs, and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary escalation point for vendor-related issues, ensuring resolutions that align with Lyra’s business goals
