Lyte Fiber, LLC is seeking an experienced human resource professional to fill the role of Human Resources and Recruiting Manager. Lyte is a private equity backed fiber broadband start-up with ambitious plans to scale and expand its business across multiple regions. The Human Resources and Recruiting Manager should be a trusted, energetic self-starter leader that thrives in a dynamic, fast-growth environment.
The Human Resources and Recruiting Manager will be responsible for recruitment, payroll, training, orientation process, employee records, employee relations, compensation and benefit administration. This role will also be responsible for developing HR policies and programs that support the growth and goals of the company. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of progressive HR experience and is ready to grow professionally with Lyte Fiber.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Recruitment
o Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
o Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
o Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and workforce planning.
o Ensure compliance with equal opportunity and anti-discrimination laws during the hiring process.
o Oversee and ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll.
o Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
o Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
o Identify training needs and design programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
o Organize and deliver onboarding sessions for new hires.
o Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and update them as needed.
o Develop and manage the onboarding process to integrate new employees effectively.
o Provide information about company policies, culture, and benefits during orientation.
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts, benefits, and performance evaluations.
o Ensure compliance with legal record-keeping requirements.
o Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
o Act as a liaison between employees and management.
o Conduct investigations related to workplace issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
o Oversee the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
o Evaluate and negotiate benefit plans to align with organizational budgets.
o Educate employees about their compensation and benefits options.
o Ensure HR policies and practices comply with labor laws and regulations.
o Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
o Stay current with changes in employment laws and advise management accordingly.
