Description of Responsibilities

The Repair Tech is a multifaceted role that combines inventory management with equipment repair, while also assisting with inventory operations to ensure efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Building upon the responsibilities of the Inventory Fulfillment Specialist Role, the Level III Specialist takes on additional duties related to inventory oversight, process improvement, customer interaction, and equipment repairs.


Inventory/Warehouse Duties

  • Complete workflows associated with inventory and fulfillment.
  • Assist in implementing inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies.
  • Accurately clean, validate, and maintain rental equipment based on accreditation requirements to ensure adequacy for patient needs.
  • Ensure all equipment scheduled for delivery is in the designated area for efficient workflow.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on rental equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Assist in tracking equipment movement in and out of repair/quarantine areas to troubleshoot systemic issues.
  • Receive and set up new rental equipment to ensure readiness for patients and maintain serialized asset tracking accuracy.


Equipment Repair Responsibilities

  • Conduct repairs, preventive maintenance, and inspections on various medical devices, including Continuous Passive Motion Machines, DVT pumps, and Intermittent Pneumatic Compression devices. Apply firmware upgrades and ensure all equipment meets operational standards.
  • Keep the repair area organized with clearly labeled bins for parts and equipment, ensuring an efficient workflow and quick access to necessary components.
  • Identify and fix issues with key components such as:
  • Equipment housings and covers
  • IPC water and air hoses
  • Electrical cords
  • Rubber lips on KCPM
  • Knobs, hand controls, and display panels
  • Air and compression pump systems
  • Water pump and control systems
  • Electrical systems and controls
  • Motors, gearboxes, and other mechanical components
  • Maintain an up-to-date log in Google Sheets tracking all equipment repairs and movements, providing real-time status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage the stock of repair parts, ensuring sufficient quantities are available for common repairs. Request new parts as needed to avoid downtime.
  • Assist with the shipment and tracking of equipment sent to manufacturers for warranty repairs or issues beyond in-house capabilities, ensuring timely processing and return.
  • Assist with the creation of regularly updated procedures, videos, and manuals for all preventive maintenance activities to ensure ongoing equipment reliability and performance.

Fulfillment/Shipping and Receiving Duties

  • Facilitate the return of serialized equipment following rental periods by coordinating with all virtual patients and UPS for seamless logistics.
  • Assist with equipment recovery for past-due virtual returns.
  • Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders for all warehouses.
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials according to company policies.
  • Provide enhanced oversight of inventory processes, including receiving and stocking.
  • Process packing slips for all warehouses to close purchase orders.
  • Coordinate UPS pickups from warehouse locations.

Miscellaneous Duties

  • Engage with customers to confirm order details, address inquiries, and provide updates on order status.
  • Assist with training staff as necessary to ensure successful onboarding.
  • Contribute to team training and development initiatives, including mentoring new team members and facilitating cross-training efforts.
  • Collaborate with team members to facilitate process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Participate in weekly reviews to improve and optimize productivity and process improvements.



General Responsibilities

  • Cooperate with other members of management in supporting long-range strategic and operational plans.
  • Support the mission, values, and standards of Lytle Medical Technologies.
  • Provide reports for those activities you are responsible for and report those to the Supervisor.
  • Assist in ensuring ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations; assist in ensuring that the Company meets or exceeds accreditation standards; and assist in the implementation of “best practices” in all Company activities.
  • Work with the Company’s Suppliers and Business Partners to ensure all required information is transferred in a timely and accurate basis.
  • Work with the Company’s clients and patients to answer questions and assist in business and patient care matters.
  • Participate in membership activities of professional and industry organizations, if applicable.
  • Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
  • Work with all company personnel, patients, and Physician offices to ensure all patients are provided outstanding service and care.
  • Participate in the Company’s Performance Management program as requested by the Performance Management Coordinator.
  • Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities.
  • Participate in Company Committees when requested.
  • Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with Clients and Patients.
  • Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or President.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and management.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide insights.
  • Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High school diploma/GED required.
