What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Teacher position at M and M Academy Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for all aged children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Use positive behavior management techniques to promote a positive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development and milestones.
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and techniques.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
- Ability to create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and parents.
Note: You must have your DCF 40 hours
