Job Summary
M&C Recruiting & Consulting is seeking an accomplished Operations Management Expert to lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of new product programs.
About the Role:
- Develop and implement comprehensive plans for program execution, ensuring timely completion of tasks and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute development programs, utilizing established processes and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of program development, from award phase to first set production launch.
- Deploy and utilize the APQP process for new products, adhering to business procedures and uniting key functions to work collaboratively.
- Resolve functional area disconnects by addressing conflicts and ensuring clear communication and alignment between functional areas.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science / Engineering Degree in a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Engineering, new product development programs, NPI, including working directly with customers.
- Working knowledge of the investment casting business and experience manufacturing facilities qualifying new programs.
Preferred Skills:
- Self-driven individual with an acute sense of urgency and ability to manage complex development programs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, tactfully managing difficult circumstances and resolving conflicts.
- Ability to create and think through complex development program plans, identifying and resolving gaps/risk before they cause issues.
