Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment using technical manuals, schematics, and handbooks.
- Perform work orders and maintain documentation associated with the work order system.
- Receive verbal directions from others regarding operations and assignments to be performed.
- Work in a clean and orderly condition, disposing of scrap materials properly.
- Clean all areas where work is performed of material, parts, oil, grease, etc.
- Research and provide documentation to storeroom of needed supplies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience as a maintenance technician preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for transferring or interpreting explanations of problems and receiving/understanding work assignments.
- Forklift certification required.
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 10 hours, lift work-in-process (50-100 pounds), carry 50 pounds, and perform tasks according to code and safety regulations.
Salary : $21 - $24
