Description
The Warehouse Associate assist in ensuring that the company is able to continue providing our customers with high quality remanufactured components and parts with timely service by making sure all products are easy to locate and properly shipped, received and stocked.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies and damages and report problems promptly to the appropriate person.
- Prepare items accurately for shipment according to customer orders/instructions by retrieving from the warehouse, packaging and documenting correct shipment details.
- Store materials and supplies within the warehouse according to part number and/or description by safely performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and stacking by hand or safely using material handling equipment.
- Sign for incoming deliveries, load and unload delivery trailers/trucks by hand or with material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain shipping and receiving documentation in a neat and orderly manner.
- Perform light maintenance duties such as mopping, sweeping, cleaning windows, taking out garbage on a daily basis.
- Load and unload company truck for order deliveries as assigned.
- Report shipping and receiving details to the appropriate department on a regular and timely basis.
- Maintain the warehouse and receiving area in a safe and orderly manner.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Prior Forklift experience preferred.
- Able to work overtime as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
- 1 year of experience preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Forklift experience a plus.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
- Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.
