Job Summary: Provides hardware and software support to internal and external end users, ensuring efficient and effective use of technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Provide Tier 1 support to end users.
- Perform work through remote access software and onsite visits.
- Analyze and resolve problems.
- Collaborate with 3rd party vendors on IT-related issues.
- Deliver IT support via telephone and email.
- Log actions taken on each support ticket.
- Escalate tickets when necessary.
- Provide timely resolutions to support tickets.
- Install, implement, deploy, support, and maintain new hardware, software, and phone technologies.
- Assist in creating new user accounts for multiple systems.
- Understand basic network topology.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience: Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
