Job Description

M&M Donuts is looking for someone who is creative, interested in baking, decorating, fast hands, loves the fast pace environment. We specialize in the triple D's. Our donuts are delicious, delectable, and delightful.

Requirements

• Shift hours from 6:15 to 12:00PM
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

What will you do?

You will prepare and shape dough, cut and fry donuts, bake kolaches and croissants. You will prepare products for the next business day and learn to become a master baker. You’ll make sure the doughnut-making equipment is running in top shape and fix any issues that may arise. You will also ensure that the kitchen area is cleaned and sanitized to meet all of our quality and food safety standards. As the assistant baker, you are the key ingredient to our winning recipe. You will be looked at as the leader of the team and will need to communicate with your team members to create products on demand. Whether it is hot glazed or fresh baked kolaches, you will be whipping it up in the kitchen as you go. You'll also provide support when your leader requests it in other areas at times too.

Staying active and on the go

This is a role for people who prefer not sitting still. Get ready to get moving while you create beautiful doughnuts! You’ll lift 50 pounds often. You’ll need to be able to move around, read equipment dials and measuring devices, as well as use cleaning equipment. The doughnut kitchen can be very warm inside as well as a bit noisy.

What makes you a great fit?

You have 2-4 years of experience working in a food manufacturing or a similar environment, doing food production or processing. You can troubleshoot minor equipment failures and are a good problem-solver. Experience in Food Safety is ideal. You can communicate with fellow team members effectively and know how to stay organized. You can read and do basic math as well as use weights and measurements. You will need to be detail oriented and be able to multi-task with great focus. Problem-solving and basic computer skills will also come in handy! We also prefer for you to have a high school diploma or GED.
