Landscape Team Leader

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Crew Leader to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic and a passion for creating beautiful landscapes.

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience in landscaping or related field.

- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

- Ability to drive truck and trailer.

- Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Must be able to pass a back ground check for the military, work assignments.

- Reliable transportation to the office.

- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and team

members.

- Proficiency with iPad technology for record-keeping and communication.

- Ability to work a 4-day work week, starting at 6:30 am- until job completion.

- Good knowledge of landscaping practices, including herbicide application.

- Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with precision.

- Ability to perform tasks without constant supervision.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise a team of landscapers in daily operations.

-Drive truck and trailer to transport equipment and materials to job sites.

- Supervise and train junior landscape members to ensure quality workmanship

- Manage time effectively to ensure projects are completed on schedule.

-Coordinate with clients and provide excellent customer service.

- Conduct general maintenance and repair tasks as needed.

- Operate landscaping equipment, including stand-on mowers, efficiently and

safely.

- Demonstrate knowledge of plants, turf types, tree, and shrub trimming practices.

- Apply herbicides and other chemicals following safety protocols.

- Maintain accurate records and reports using iPad technology.

- Ensure worksite safety and cleanliness at all times.

- Lift heavy products and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
- Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery to enhance the overall appearance of outdoor spaces

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Knowledge of plant species and their specific care requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address issues related to irrigation systems or plant health
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong leadership skills to supervise junior Crew Members
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
