Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Extrusion Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in plastics processing - 12 hour shifts - 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am
We are looking for experienced Extrusion Operators to extrude film for food products. quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate extrusion machinery to produce plastic products according to specifications.
- Monitor the extrusion process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers for precise measurements.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any operational challenges.
Requirements
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Experience in plastics extrusion or related processes such as blow molding or injection molding is preferred.
- Blown film extrusion: 1 year (Required)
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)
- Must be able to successfully complete background & preemployment screenings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
