Summary Description

The Administrative Assistant will work on various tasks efficiently. The position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, to be able to multi-task and have a proactive attitude. Overall, the administrative assistant/receptionist supports staff members and contributes to the overall success of M&S Electric.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Confidentiality in Performance of All Duties
  • Customer Focus and Outgoing Professionalism
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of others to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experienced with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is organized and presentable.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing and record keeping.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls.
  • Draft and proof-read documents, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Assist Project Managers in keeping all projects documents organized.
  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Background in Construction is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, occasionally lift packages up to 25 lbs.
