About the Job
The Field Operations Lead will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of M2X's autonomous biofuel production assets. This individual will work closely with the Engineering Team, Manufacturing Team, and the Executive Team to ensure proper operations and maintenance of field facilities and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage day-to-day operations of autonomous, modular biofuel plants
- Support field testing of modular plant in collaboration with Engineering team
- Collaborate with other teams to implement process improvements
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs
- Analyze operating data via remote monitoring software
- Supervise and train plant operators and technicians
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and property
- Manage and oversee subcontractors, vendors and service providers
- Manage time, budget, and materials for field deployment projects
- Respond to and manage any plant emergencies or operational issues
- Conduct hazard assessments across production facilities to identify and mitigate risks
- Oversee and audit compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Maintain safe storage of chemicals, safety supplies and PPE
- Support manufacturing team with first article testing (FAT) and performance testing
- Report field operations information to Executive Team
