How You Will Make an Impact
- Take ownership of analyzing pricing structures for PBM services and providing financial assessment support for client contracts.
- Lead the review and analysis of PBM financial models, including clinical savings, pharmacy rebates, and drug pricing trends.
- Manage the financial aspects of the RFP process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance proposals.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and executive summaries, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities in PBM performance.
- Contribute to PBM audit processes, ensuring data integrity and assessing financial performance against guarantees.
- Stay informed about pharmacy benefit regulations and ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare financial analysis, preferably with a PBM or managed care focus.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy language, drivers of pharmacy costs, and PBM contracts.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial modeling and forecasting tools.
- Experience with programming languages such as SAS, SQL, Python, and R.
- Familiarity with business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Ringmaster).
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-technical audiences.
