How You Will Make an Impact
- Ensure Safe, Clean, and Functional Workspaces: Oversee the day-to-day operations of office locations, maintaining top-tier environments for employees and driving high levels of satisfaction.
- Self-Starter with Strong Discernment: Capable of making independent decisions, yet also knowing when to involve others to foster collaboration as needed.
- Optimize Space and Workplace Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to improve space utilization, making the workplace more efficient and adaptable to business needs.
- Strengthen Vendor Relationships: Manage contracts and service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery that meets company standards and employee needs.
- Improve Internal Communication: Foster strong relationships with internal customers, ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed with clear communication and action.
- Manage Lease Agreements: Handle lease negotiations, renewals, and expiration tracking to ensure smooth and compliant office operations.
- Ensure Successful Preventive Maintenance: Proactively manage maintenance schedules and collaborate with external experts to ensure facility upkeep.
- Drive Continuous Process Improvement: Review and refine workplace processes in line with M3’s goals, working with the team to execute improvements effectively.
- Integrate Various Operational Components: Oversee facility management, vendor relations, safety, fleet management, and space planning to ensure all elements work seamlessly together.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with the Director of Workplace Experience and other leaders to identify key projects and contribute to their successful execution.
- Lead & Develop Team: Provide mentorship and set clear goals for the workplace experience team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure Safety & Compliance: Uphold building safety standards, lead emergency response plans, and ensure business continuity.
- Manage Budget & Costs: Oversee the workplace experience budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and evaluate vendors for financial efficiency.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, ideally in a dynamic, service-oriented industry.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a diverse team.
- Strategic mindset coupled with hands-on problem-solving abilities to navigate complex operational challenges.
- Advanced financial acumen, including experience in budget management, cost optimization, and financial forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from C-suite executives to front-line employees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technical ability to learn other department specific programs.
- Innovative thinking, with the ability to anticipate future workplace trends and implement forward-thinking solutions.
- Adaptability and resilience, thriving in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Experience in lease management, including negotiation, renewal, and understanding complex lease terms.
- Strong project/program management skills, capable of overseeing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to travel to regional offices (approximately 10% of time, may include overnight stays).
