The QTI Group is proud to partner with a Madison-based client to hire a Facilities Workplace Manager. We are seeking a dynamic leader to cultivate world-class workspaces across multiple office locations in Wisconsin.
Leading a team of three, you will drive workspace strategy, blending facility management with a focus on engagement and safety. You will have a direct impact on ensuring safe, clean and functional workspaces and lead a team dedicated professionals who foster a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal leader is a self-starter with a keen eye for detail who can oversee complex operations while always keeping the employee workplace experience top of mind.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily office operations, including team management, facility management, vendor relations, safety, fleet management, and space planning.
- Enhance workplace and space efficiency by optimizing space utilization and improving adaptability to meet business needs.
- Manage vendor partnerships and contracts to ensure high-quality, cost-effective services (i.e., office supplies, landscaping, janitorial services).
- Foster strong relationships with internal customers, proactively addressing any workplace concerns.
- Manage lease agreements, including negotiations, renewals, and expiration tracking to ensure seamless office operations.
- Proactively manage facility maintenance (and preventative maintenance) plans.
- Drive continuous improvement activities as it relates to facility operational efficiencies.
- Partner with key leaders to identify and execute on strategic workplace-related projects.
- Lead and develop Workplace Experience Team, including goal setting, mentoring and fostering a high performing culture.
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance, including leading emergency response planning and supporting business continuity efforts.
- Oversee the department’s budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelors in Business or related field.
- 5 years’ professional experience, preferably in a service-oriented industry, with at least 2 years managing a small team.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
- Budgeting and forecasting experience desired.
- Ability to communicate and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as familiarity with facilities-related tools such as Zendesk ticketing, building access control and visitor management systems (Keyscan Aurora, Proxyclick), and vendor management software.
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM) is a plus!
- Ability to travel (up to 10%) to regional offices; proof of valid Wisconsin driver’s license required

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
