Automotive Body Repair Technician Job Summary:
Automotive Body Repair Technician needed for high volume body shop. A minimum of 2 - 5 years experience is required.
Automotive Body Repair Technician Responsibilities and Duties:
- Disassemble vehicles and related parts
- Body work in accordance with the repair plan
- Reassemble vehicles once all repairs are complete
- Communicate status clearly to the shop manager
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
- Follow all company safety procedures
- High production capabilities
- Detail-oriented
- Repair or replace mechanical parts
- Perform structural repairs and/or replacement repairs
- Perform different types of sheet metal welding and metal finishing
- Re-assemble painted vehicle and painted parts
Automotive Body Repair Technician Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be able to work independently without close supervision, and be flexible/adaptable to constant change
- Must have own tools
- Keep personal work area organized and clean
