Experienced Auto Painter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in auto painting, possess mechanical knowledge, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality finishes on vehicles and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as needed.
• Apply paint using various techniques and tools, ensuring an even and professional finish.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to complete painting tasks.
• Perform minor repairs or touch-ups as necessary to meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Keep detailed records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in auto painting or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand vehicle systems.
• Familiarity with auto estimating processes is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely.
• Experience in welding is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for this position.
