Job description
Job Title: Body Shop Paintline Technician
At least 1 year of production experience. Must have sander and basic equipment to work. Must be able to produce a minimum 5-7 RO's per week. We average 60% allovers and 40% spot jobs. Pay is based on experience and performance so it can increase. Bonus is based on productivity.
Duties:
- Sand and/or strip panels on prepare vehicle for paint
- Remove/mask trim, headlamps, mirrors, etc for mitigation of overspray and better end result
- Scuff areas when needed to ensure proper adhesion
Type of jobs:
- Spot jobs (specific areas of a vehicle)
- Allovers (Paint entire vehicle)
Qualities:
- Must possess creative problem-solving skills (i.e. removal of trim piece or hard to reach area for sanding)
- Must be able to complete jobs quickly and accurately. We do not want re-do's
