Position Name: Staff Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Engineer
Location: Fort Meade, MD
Position Type: Full-time Permanent - HYBRID REMOTE
Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
Salary Range: Max $150K with Full benefits
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
• Demonstrated expertise designing, building and maintaining VDI environments as such as Azure Virtual Desktop, VMware Horizon, Amazon Workspace, Citrix or other platforms
• Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA
• Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence
• Current IAT Level II (or higher) Certification such as Security or CISSP
Preferred Qualifications
• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Experience delivering VDI solutions for U.S. Government customers
• Recognized certification such as Microsoft Certified Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty, VMware Certified Professional – End-User Computing
