We are seeking a skilled Interpreter to facilitate communication between parties who speak different languages. The ideal candidate will be proficient in translating spoken and written information accurately and efficiently.
Duties
- Interpret conversations, meetings, and events to ensure clear communication
- Translate documents and other materials to assist understanding
- Provide language support to individuals or groups as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Adapt communication style to suit different audiences
Qualifications
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages
- Proficiency in linguistics, including grammar, syntax, and vocabulary
- Experience in interpreting, translating, or related fields
- Knowledge of American Sign Language is a plus
- Being multilingual or bilingual is highly desirable
