- Read, interpret and follow blueprints, geometrical tolerance, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
- Experience with tight tolerance machining up to “.0001 is preferred.
- Able to operate CNC lathes. Okuma, Hardinge and Mori Seiki experience is a plus.
- Experience with FANUC controls and Okuma.
- Trouble shoot problems independently, and ability to help fellow machinists.
- Ability to operate CMM Machine and interpret data to ensure parts are manufactured according to specification and blueprint call outs.
- Able to utilize calipers and manual measurement tools to conduct data checks that cannot be verified via CMM output.
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
