Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our team in managing and building concrete substations. This role focuses on coordinating key aspects of project execution, such as scheduling deliveries, communicating with clients, and managing equipment and repairs. While not a full project management role, this position is critical to ensure our projects run smoothly, stay on schedule, and meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule deliveries of materials and equipment to project sites.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates on project progress.
- Assist in planning and scheduling equipment repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Support the bidding process by gathering data, assisting with estimates, and preparing proposals.
- Work closely with field teams to address and resolve on-site issues promptly.
- Monitor project schedules and communicate any changes or delays to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, delivery logs, and client communications.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards across all project activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience in project coordination, construction management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with concrete construction or substation projects (preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface professionally with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in using project management tools, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling field-related issues.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing project demands.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or degrees in construction management or related fields are a plus.
