What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oregon CASA Network Board of Directors position at Mac's List?
The Oregon CASA Network (OCN) is the statewide organization that supports Oregon’s 19 Local CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Programs. The local programs recruit, support, supervise and train local volunteers that serve children, youth, and young adults experiencing foster care. The Oregon CASA Network Board governs the OCN to better promote, support, and build capacity for programs across the state and we are actively seeking interested volunteer board members.
General expectations of OCN Board of Directors include :
- Availability for a 3-year term
- OCN Board of Director’s meet approximately 1-3 hours each month. Some months will require more and there are up to three in-person meetings annually where we meet over a 1-2 day window.
- Participation in at least one standing committee : Executive Committee (Officers Only)Governance CommitteeFinancial CommitteeLegislative CommitteeEquity, Diversity, and Inclusion CommitteeCollaborative Training and Continuing Education Committee
