We are excited to be adding a warehouse supervisor to the MAC Trailer Team. Our warehouse supervisor directs and coordinates activities of warehouse department(s) in processing material movements or manufacturing product movements in industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate staff members. Responsible for a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Please note that shift hours are Mon - Fri 5:30am - 4pm with additional overtime.

What you will do:
● Communicate daily goals and direct staff as needed to accomplish goals set forth by the organization at the start and throughout the shift to every team member
● Maintains the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of raw materials into their facility.
● Maintains inventory levels by material count practices set forth by the organization and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards
● Maintains warehouse staffing by assisting in selecting, training, coaching and disciplining employees
● Set warehouse team goals in collaboration company objectives
● Inspect warehouse equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization
● Monitor cleanliness in the warehouse, shop, and grounds
● Follow standard operational and working practices set forth by the organization
● Resolve worker grievances or submit unsettled grievances to Human Resources for action
● Investigate and correct, or have corrected immediately, unsafe conditions
● Know, observe, instruct, and enforce all the general safety rules and special instructions for the department
● Investigate and report all personal injuries and illnesses sustained on the job by personnel within their area of responsibility
● Investigate and report all property damage accidents
● Welcome discussions involving safety suggestions which may be made by the workers review with safety manager to determine use of if practicable
● Ensure workers have and use personal protective equipment as determined by the Safety Manager
● Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
● Appraise performance
● Reward and discipline employees at time of events ensuring results are as intended
● Any other duties assigned

● Familiar with inventory controls and management
● Leadership and interpersonal communication skills
● Ability to manage and develop a team
● Basic computer and math skills
● Ability to solve practical problems and prioritize proper solutions
● Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
● 3 to 5 years of experience or training
● Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including being physically capable
of maneuvering self throughout, work area, product, equipment.
● Ability to lift 50 lbs.
● Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
