This position provides journeyman-level support to various logistics and maintenance program offices at WPAFB, Ohio. Specific duties involve analysis of organizational data and processes to identify areas for improvement, recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity, and ultimately helping the logistics and maintenance communities in the United States Air Force achieve their operational and mission support goals.

Bachelor's degree in Business or related fields of study.
Professional Certifications
None.
Clearance
The ability to obtain and maintain the necessary clearances (specifically, a background investigation at the Tier 1 low-risk level (formerly NACI) with a favorable adjudication).
Experience
3-5 years of experience working in business analysis and process modeling.
U.S. Citizen or Similar
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Other Characteristics (e.g., Personal Or Language)
Excellent oral, written, and communication in English. Must be able to work in a team environment with personnel from other companies, government program management and administrative personnel, and technical staff members. Must be able to perform with minimal management oversight and have strong time management skills.
Working conditions, including location
A combination of remote and at least one to two days each week on-site at WPAFB, OH.
Client duty hours are Monday through Friday.

125 - 140k Annually

Duties And Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform the following:
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: gather, analyze, and interpret data to understand business performance, identify trends, and uncover potential issues or opportunities.
- Business Modeling: using information obtained through requirements determination and process re-engineering to model business processes to determine the impacts of various process changes
- Problem Solving: identify problems or inefficiencies within the logistics and/or maintenance organizations and develop solutions to address them.
- Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, and collaborate with various teams to implement solutions.
- Project Management: Assist with project management activities, such as planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate new technologies and systems to determine their potential benefits for the organization.
- Documentation: Document findings, analysis, and recommendations clearly and concisely.
- Stakeholder Management: Support the management of stakeholder expectations and ensure that solutions meet business needs and requirements
The successful candidate will have knowledge and expertise in the following areas:
- Direct experience with the creation, configuration, and use of modeling tools. Examples of tools to be used include CAMEO and ARIS modeling software; however, any modeling tool experience is needed
- Experience in value stream mapping and digitizing manual work processes
- Knowledge of Project Management, Portfolio Management, Risk Management, etc., and the relation with process modeling
