Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with a welcoming demeanor.
- Manage reservations and assist with phone inquiries.
- Address guest requests, concerns, and special accommodations.
- Coordinate with hotel departments for a seamless experience.
- Assist with processing payments and ensuring accurate billing.
- Provide menus and inform guests about specials and promotions.
- Work with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely orders.
- Monitor dining room flow for efficiency.
- Assist guests with dietary restrictions or special requests.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide prompt service.
- Handle concerns professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Work closely with staff to maintain high service standards.
- Help train new employees in hostess responsibilities.
- Step in to support team members when necessary.
- Keep entrance, lobby, and seating areas clean and organized.
- Ensure menus and promotional materials are up to date.
- Report maintenance or cleanliness issues.
- Assist with table setup and clearing during shifts.
- Follow health and safety regulations.
- Follow all company policies, including service standards, safety, attendance, meal breaks, uniforms and grooming guidelines, and code of conduct.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide respectful, high-quality service.
- Represent the brand with integrity, teamwork, and hospitality excellence.
- Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Professional appearance and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in using reservation and restaurant management systems and basic computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
- Required to obtain Food Handler’s and Alcohol Service certifications upon hire.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move efficiently for extended periods.
- Push, pull, lift, and carry light objects such as menus, trays, and small furniture adjustments.
- Be able to move quickly and efficiently during busy service hours.
- Availability for flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, evenings and days.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
