Who are we looking for?

As an Intern with MacDermid Alpha Electronic Solutions you will support the Research and Development Team with general R&D operations and organizational tasks. In addition, you will work on various projects and initiatives that could impact the Business globally.

Specific Intern Duties & Responsibilities

• Some knowledge in electrochemistry is preferred.
• Hands on experience working with wet chemistry.
• Interested in new plating technology and techniques and an on-going desire to learn.
• Ability to carry out tasks with some supervision.
• Ability to work safely in a chemical lab.
• Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and report them clearly and concisely.
• Competent with MS Office/Outlook
  
  
  

What competencies will you need?

• Bachelor’s degree (Completed or In-progress) in chemistry or chemical engineering or materials science
• Solid analytical skills and self-motivated.
• Local candidate to work an estimated 40 hours per week
• Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Leadership (ability to influence, collaborate, and thinks/acts like a business owner)
• Detail oriented and results driven (resourceful with balanced sense of urgency, a “doer”)
