The Assistant Financial Controller will be in office at least three days a week.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports across the business
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting
- Oversee company budgeting and forecasting processes aligned with strategic goals
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory filings
- Manage cash flow, financial planning, and risk mitigation efforts
- Support project financing and capital relationships, including interaction with lenders and investors
- Supervise the accounting team and drive process improvements and systems enhancements
- Partner with leadership to provide financial insight that supports strategic decision-making
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- 7–10 years of experience in financial management, ideally within real estate or affordable housing
- Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with real estate financial modeling, tax credits, and compliance reporting
- Skilled in financial systems and accounting software
- Proven leadership skills with a collaborative, detail-oriented approach
