  • Utilize production data, modeling, and simulation tools to identify opportunities for improving well performance and field optimization.
  • Perform detailed well performance analysis, including reviewing data from SCADA systems, field reports, and real-time monitoring to assess production trends.
  • Implement and recommend well interventions, workovers, and completions to enhance production.
  • Work closely with field personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations and respond to operational problems in a timely manner.
  • Design and recommend modifications or upgrades to production systems, including surface facilities, pipelines, and wellbore systems.
  • Participate in the planning, design, and execution of well completion programs, including tank battery design and artificial lift optimization.
  • Ensure all production activities comply with environmental regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Proactively contribute to safety initiatives and risk assessments, maintaining a strong safety culture on the team.
  • Collect and analyze operational data to provide insights into production trends, equipment performance, and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including reservoir engineers, geologists, drilling engineers, and operations staff, to ensure optimal production performance and alignment with field development goals.
  • Evaluate the economic impact of engineering solutions and recommend cost-effective methods to improve production.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 years in production engineering with experience in well operations, artificial lift, and production optimization.
  • Proficiency with production engineering software and tools (e.g., Carte, WellView, SCADA systems, and data analysis tools like Power BI).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills; ability to collaborate and work independently.
