Summary

Machado Construction Co. Inc., is a family-owned and operated business located in Halethorpe, MD. We are seeking a General Yard Laborer to join our team. No experience required.

Duties

Various manual tasks, such as, but not limited to:

· Shoveling

· Sweeping

· Steam cleaning

· Painting

· Lifting/pushing/pulling

· Providing general assistance with maintenance of the facility.

· Throwing ice

Requirements

· Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

· Must be punctual and have good time management skills.

· Must be able to abide by all safety protocols and procedures.

· Ability to understand and follow written and/or oral instructions.

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time, including walking, standing, squatting, etc.

· Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds and 50 pounds overhead with no issue.

· Ability to climb ladders.

· Flexible attitude engaged in team goals.

· Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather.

· Ability to work in areas with the potential for high noise levels.

· Ability to work days, nights, and weekends if needed.

Salary

· $15-$18 based on experience.
