We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven SVP, Regional Market Manager to lead and oversee our Southern Market. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and overall banking relationships within the market. You will lead and mentor a team of Business Bankers and Branch Managers to achieve key financial goals and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a proven ability to build strategic partnerships and will actively assess market opportunities to maximize performance. You will play a key role in implementing major change initiatives in alignment with the bank’s broader strategies. Additionally, you will decision loan requests and deposit exception rates within authorized limits and in compliance with bank policies and procedures.
As the Regional Market Manager, you will also be an influential community leader, representing the bank with a strong personal reputation and actively contributing to local initiatives to enhance the visibility and impact of our MSB brand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop Business Bankers and Branch Managers to drive sales, service, and overall market performance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
• Analyze and assess market opportunities to identify new growth areas and support the bank’s strategic objectives.
• Approve and manage loan requests and deposit exception rates in line with bank policies
• Champion major change initiatives that support the bank’s evolving business strategies.
• Represent the bank in the community by building and nurturing local partnerships, positioning the bank as a trusted financial leader.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4-6 years of experience in retail and commercial lending, with a focus on both sales and operational excellence.
• Proven track record of leading a team to meet and exceed sales, service, and financial goals.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage risk and minimize losses while driving results.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
• A passion for community involvement and representing the bank in local initiatives.
