Job Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Engineer your objective is to support our customers through all aspects of the installation, setup, and aftercare of their CNC equipment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Travel to customer's facility to provide installation, troubleshooting maintenance and repair support on a variety of equipment.
- Support our customers with comprehensive training to in-person as well as remotely.
- Utilize machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.
- Ensure proper documentation regarding machine issues, repairs and installation; the Field Service Engineer will provide detailed feedback to management, distributors and customers.
- Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry, and all required information to support your role.
Job Skills/Requirements:
- Qualified candidate would have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical and electrical repair, maintenance and programming within the Machine tool industry
- Technical degree is preferred. Validated experience in the industry is acceptable.
- Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills as well as the ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics are required.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are required.
- Experience with FANUC, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain is preferred.
- Candidate must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
- Consistent travel is required.
- Candidate must pass a criminal background check and obtain security clearances.

- Some international travel is required for training.
