Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift Maintenance

Come join a wholly owned and operated privately held family business – Machine-Pro Technologies, Inc. located in Celina, Ohio is a three-shift CNC Precision Machining shop since 1994.

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This is a hands-on role – the right individual for this position will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment throughout our facility, as well as work closely with Engineers, Programmers, Supervisors, Operators, and other outside maintenance personnel as well as working closely with outside contractors and service technicians. Ensure a Preventative Maintenance Program (PM) is developed, maintained, and completed. The Maintenance Technician will also support the documentation completion records and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Work based on a sense of urgency with potential machine down conditions

· Coordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of work

· Develop and maintain a Preventative Maintenance System (PM)

· Support continuous improvement of development of PM instructions and schedules to prevent failures

· Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal/vendor resources to research machine issues and repairs

· Identify and replace parts as necessary

· Ability to manage a number of projects at one time with frequent interruptions

· Proven awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions

· General facilities maintenance

· Ability to work on heights using Aerial Working Platforms (boom lift, scissor lifts etc..)

· Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook email

· Perform other job-related duties as assigned

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma or G.E.D. required

· Prior experience in a manufacturing environment

· Minimum of 3 years of experience, training, or a combination of both

· Ability to fabricate and weld is a plus

· Proficiency in reading blueprints, part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides

· Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

· Sense of urgency is required

· 40-45 hour work week

· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America
