POSITION: Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing Lead
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations, Tucson
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing Lead. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence by identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing lean methodologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Lead the deployment of OpEx 2.0 initiatives in Tucson and support the same across Machine Solution sites
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting awareness, engagement, and adoption of improvement initiatives.
- Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving methodologies.
- Analyze current production processes to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and optimize productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, quality, and supply chain to implement sustainable process improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and facilitate corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on Lean principles and best practices.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of improvement initiatives.
- Support the design and implementation of process layouts, equipment selection, and workflow optimization.
- Participate in cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow, Green or Black Belt Certification a plus
