What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Services Manager position at Macken Staffing, LLC?
This is a full time perm role with our client Americhoice Credit Union.
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our members, welcoming them with a smile and helping with a variety of transactions. You’ll assist members by processing their requests quickly and accurately, while also sharing the benefits of our credit union’s products and services. Additionally, you'll play a key role in ensuring the branch runs smoothly by answering phone calls promptly, greeting every member as they walk through the door, and maintaining branch security by following cash handling procedures. Also Responsible for overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing the office and securing the vault/teller line.
Duties
- Engage with members in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist members with account inquiries and transactions
- Process member registrations and renewals
- Provide information on products, services, and promotions
- Conduct product demonstrations when necessary
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to achieve service goals
Requirements
- Completes maintenance to existing member’s accounts as well as process Visa credit card payments, issue Visa gift cards, complete member check orders and prepare stop payments.
- Research and resolves member complaints professionally and while following procedures. Documents complaints and keeps supervisor informed as necessary. Ensure member requests and questions are promptly resolved.
- Reviews, documents and processes daily mail items and daily night drop items received under dual control. Ensures these are processed daily, accurately and efficiently.
- Conducts regular weekly meetings with branch employees to inform and train. Discusses improvement and any changes in procedures. Stays current on new operational procedures.
- Ensures all branch personnel are trained to perform various branch duties as necessary. Documents any issues and keeps supervisor informed as necessary.
- Continually monitors all Member Service Representatives member interaction for professionalism, efficiency and that policies and procedures are being followed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
