Traveling Hotel General Manager

This position requires a great deal of travel. The traveling General Manager role is a supportive role to the Director of Operations for the hospitality group. The position requires a person who is highly organized, effective at multi-tasking, possess an extensive knowledge of hotel management, and have the ability to adapt to and immerse themselves in multiple hotel teams. The traveling General Manager will be sent to our hotels to cover General Managers who may be out at different periods, and also be asked to assist hotel teams as directed. In addition to this, the traveling manager will assist the Director of Operations with various tasks. The work will require the manager to stay at the hotel throughout the scheduled coverage. As hotels are in multiple states, the position will involve a great deal of travel, and time away from home. This is the nature of the position, so the successful candidate will have an earnest desire to be "on the move." Hotel experience is a must, with brand specific general manager experience preferred. The candidate must have at least 3 years of hotel experience, and a minimum of 2 years of either General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate leadership, planning, execution, organization, and further develop hospitality General Manager skills that will likely result in future upward mobility or an assignment to a specific property.

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000 per year
