Mackenzie Stuart has partnered with a private-label manufacturer on an exciting Plant Manager position.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing both a production facility and an operational team. They should be able to analyze each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver outstanding results. The candidate will also have an ability to follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently in order to create a healthy work environment for all employees.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain clean and safe workplace
- Analyze production costs and inventory to establish areas for improvements
- Ensure adherence to rules and workplace policies
- Examine processes and design plans to effectively use available resources
- Lead continuous improvement projects.
- Manage production schedules to meet client demands and delivery timelines.
- Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Lead and develop a team of supervisors and operators to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and customize production processes accordingly.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of workplace safety.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget for the plant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (Preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a Plant Management role.
- Experience in plant management and manufacturing operations
- Strong communication, mentorship, management and supervisory skills
