Job Description
Mackinnon & Partners is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and running complex machining operations on a variety of equipment.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience programming and setting up horizontal and vertical CNC machines. You should have strong knowledge of Shop Skills and shop environment, as well as experience working with NX/Unigraphics programming.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision. You should have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
In addition to your technical skills, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be familiar with FANUC, MAS-5, Haas, and similar CNC controls.
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes to meet production goals.
- Program and set up CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve overall efficiency.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
