Duties : Hybrid role-Boston, MA (Must Reside within 50 Miles of Burlington office)
Key Responsibilities
May manage multiple projects of differing solution types.
- Serves as subject matter expert for related scope of work, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Manage the schedule and deliverables in accordance with project objectives, ensuring that the land services team completes tasks on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules, identifying critical path activities and potential delays.
- Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and / or Client, providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for land services projects.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, participating in training and development initiatives and sharing knowledge with team members.
- Responsible for complex land entitlement negotiations or acquiring complex jurisdictional approvals.
- Identifies and mitigates project risks and issues and proactively works with project leadership to resolve.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the State and local municipalities – including MassDOT (Massachusetts Department of Transportation), MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority), DPW (Department of Public Works), Boston Water and Sewer Commission, DCR (Department of Conservation and Recreation), local public works departments, Boston Water & Sewer Commission, etc.
Either 4-year degree, or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum of 7 years industry experience; 2 years project lead experience.
