Job Duties
Maintenance Process Improvement
- Assist in analyzing and improving preventive and predictive maintenance workflows.
- Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce downtime and increase equipment reliability.
- Help document and standardize maintenance procedures for efficiency and consistency.
- Assist in organizing and managing maintenance inventory within the eMaint system.
- Support the implementation of a structured process for receiving, logging, and tracking spare parts.
- Analyze inventory usage data to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
- Collect and analyze maintenance performance data (e.g., downtime, failure rates, MTBF, MTTR).
- Support predictive maintenance initiatives by identifying trends in equipment performance.
- Assist in conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and recommending process improvements.
- Contribute to safety and compliance initiatives by reviewing maintenance procedures.
- Participate in audits and help ensure adherence to industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational enhancements.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles.
- Familiarity with CMMS software (eMaint, SAP PM, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and process mapping.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
