Job Description
As a Picking and Packaging Expert at Macmillan Learning, you will play a key role in ensuring that returned merchandise is processed efficiently and accurately. Your primary responsibilities will include selecting cartons of returned merchandise, unpacking books and paperwork, and placing them on a conveyor at the processing station.
You will use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to process each piece of returned merchandise by ISBN number, locate it by tote number to bin locations, and make adjustments for damaged books. You will also keep each shipped-from address together on one Return Authorization Number (RA) to assign credit for the returned merchandise.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role. The ideal candidate will have basic computer and keyboarding skills and the ability to learn WMS.
