The Field Service Technician Role

Guided by the Manager of Technical Operations, you'll ensure our customer’s equipment is always ready-to-run at its peak. You’ll become a cornerstone in supporting the myriad of industries we serve, with large representation from the food and beverage sector.

Frequent travel to Richmond, Virginia, is expected, with overnight stays making up 50% of time.

A Typical Day Involves:

• Maintaining control of workflow by self-scheduling tasks.
• Ensuring open lines of communication with clients and colleagues.
• Installing, diagnosing, and ensuring the robustness of industrial machinery.
• Empowering clients through knowledgeable support and training.
• Documenting all maintenance activities comprehensively.
• Engaging in travel around Richmond, VA, for client site requirements.

Qualifications Needed

• Technical prowess with at least two years' experience in relevant fields.
• Commitment to extensive travel and adaptability to new challenges.
• Electrical and mechanical repairing capabilities; PLC skills are beneficial.
• Ability to function independently and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record welcomed.
