Macmillan Audio seeks a Digital Accounts Manager to manage our relationship with digital audiobook retailers and library accounts and maximize sales growth. The role responsibilities include title presentations, coordinating promotions with authors and narrators, strategizing downprice initiatives, and building connections to boost our sales. The ideal candidate will have experience working in publishing, a passion for books and audiobooks, and the ability to both think big picture and execute detail oriented promotions.

What you'll do :

  • Act as the main point of contact for our digital audiobook accounts
  • Maximize sales growth by strategizing and partnering with accounts.
  • Develop account strategies and sales reporting
  • Create and present compelling seasonal title presentations
  • Regularly highlight our titles in creative and persuasive ways for our accounts
  • Coordinate author and narrator promotions
  • Build relationships with libraries and librarians through conferences, accounts, and email marketing
  • Strategize and execute downpricing campaigns across titles and accounts
  • Analyze, review, and report on sales performance, using metrics to inform future strategy decisions and opportunities for growth
  • Communicate all pertinent account-specific information to all stakeholders
  • Able to attend meetings and events in NYC as needed

  • Ideal Experience :

  • 5-7 years working in publishing
  • College degree or equivalent professional experience required
  • This role will have an annual salary of $70,000 - $75,000.
