Manager, Product Engineering
- T he position is on-site in Lowell, MA
- Compensation and position dependent on candidate experience and track record
- Individual contributors will be considered depending on experience and track record
- Hands-on leader responsible for product characterization, qualification, initial product sampling, production release, yield optimization, and customer
- engagement on quality initiatives for MACOM’s MMIC product line
- Lead the Product and Reliability Engineering team (currently 7 Engineers and 1 Planner)
- Set timelines, budgets, and resources allocation to ensure timely execution of milestones
- Manage product development from initial production tests through product release
- Maintain projects in AGILE
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to team members and peers
- Drive continuous process improvements and engineering excellence
- Interface and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Design, Quality, Marketing, Sales and Operations) to ensure yield, test coverage and timeline goals are met for each product
- Support operations team on product improvements and cost reduction initiatives
- BSEE or MSEE with 10 years of experience in product and test engineering of RF and microwave products
- Previous engineering management experience is preferred
- Experience in product or design engineering related to RF and microwave MMICs
- Good understanding of RF test and measurement techniques
- Experience with:
- Statistical analysis, problem solving methodologies, and making data-driven decisions
- Statistical tools: (Excel, JMP, etc.)
- Test Plan Development
- ATE HW design and SW development
- Delivering robust & cost-effective test solutions
- Experience with AGILE is a plus
- Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple projects in parallel
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Due to ITAR regulations, candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
