A leading global company in the electric vehicle (EV) sector is seeking an accomplished Head of Global Rewards to lead the development and execution of its global rewards strategy. This role is critical in shaping competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent worldwide. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing global rewards functions, with proven expertise in supporting organizations through initial public offerings (IPOs) and scaling operations in fast-growing, multinational environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Compensation and Benefits Strategy :

  • Design and implement a comprehensive global compensation and benefits strategy aligned with the company's overall HR and business objectives.
  • Lead the design, development, and administration of compensation programs, including base salary structures, variable pay, equity plans, and long-term incentive schemes.
  • Ensure that rewards programs support the company's growth trajectory, including IPO readiness and post-IPO requirements.

Market Analysis and Benchmarking :

  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs across all geographies.
  • Utilize market data to make informed recommendations on salary structures, pay ranges, and benefits offerings tailored to the evolving needs of a global workforce.
  • Incentive Program Development :

  • Design and oversee global incentive programs, including annual bonus plans and sales incentives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and performance outcomes.
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure incentive structures support key financial and operational goals, including those related to IPO milestones.
  • Compliance and Governance :

  • Ensure global compensation and benefits programs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards, particularly in the context of public company obligations.
  • Establish robust policies and procedures to support ethical standards and regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions.
  • Employee Communication and Engagement :

  • Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure employees understand and appreciate the value of the company's rewards offerings.
  • Provide guidance and resources to employees on compensation structures, equity plans, and benefits programs, especially in preparation for and following an IPO.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in managing global compensation and benefits programs, preferably in the EV sector or other high-growth industries.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting companies through IPO processes , with a deep understanding of equity structures, executive compensation, and post-IPO governance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of global compensation and benefits practices, policies, and regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global HR teams, executive leadership, and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to navigate cultural differences and manage rewards programs in diverse, multicultural environments.
