Role Overview
A MacPherson’s Inventory Control Associate is responsible for ensuring all cycle counts are completed (daily, IC, and any counts requested by management) on a daily basis.
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with some Saturdays required. The pay range for this position is $18.45 - $21.95 per hour, depending on the experience, plus 14 days paid vacation in the first year.
A $500 sign-on bonus is available and will be paid out in two payments. The first $250 will be paid in the first paycheck after the employee’s first 30 days of employment. The second $250 will be paid in the first paycheck after the 90th day of employment.
Responsibilities
• Support dealing with lost and damaged products.
• Initiate prep work for setting up primaries (moving discontinued items out, making bins, building or modifying shelving and racking, printing location labels, etc.)
• Troubleshoot inventory issues or discrepancies, and anything requested by a supervisor or manager.
• Provide support to every department in the DC.
• Utilize RF scanner and laptop to complete daily tasks.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in Excel and Word
• Previous experience using an RF scanner
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be punctual, team oriented, committed to safety, enthusiastic and willing to learn.
• Must be able to continuously perform repetitive physical tasks involving frequent walking, reaching, bending, lifting, twisting, pushing/pulling and standing.
• Must be able to meet productivity, quality, safety and attendance requirements. (including overtime as required)
Preferred:
• 1 years of experience in Inventory Control preferred
