What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Control Analyst position at Macquarie Group Limited?
Join our Product Control team and play a key role which includes a mix of delivery responsibilities and process ownership. Functionally, you will be expected to be very hands-on and aware of the businesses you are supporting.

What role will you play?
In this role, you will utilize your accounting knowledge in the review of sub-system posting positions, month-end close, intercompany breaks clearing and suspense clearing.
In addition, you will engage with the business teams and external stakeholders, as well as demonstrate the ability to independently deal with and resolve issues with appropriate escalation.
What you offer
- Postgraduate accounting qualification, preferably CA or CPA and 4-6 plus years’ experience in Financial Accounting (essential) which may include public accounting firm experience.
- Understanding of financial instruments and derivatives
- Basic understanding of Source system to GL trade flows and trade life cycle
- Ability to address Legal Entity Controllers queries
- Experience with group regulatory reporting Submissions and Tax Submissions
