Join our North American Gas and Power team as a Power Flow Modeling Analyst in Houston. In this role, you will work closely alongside traders and other analysts to design, develop and operate power flow modeling software from the ground up – such as Dayzer, UPlan, Aurora, or Plexos.

On a day-to-day basis, you will contribute to the business’s bottom line by building power flow models and generating ad-hoc scenarios to assist the power trading desks. Your tasks may include running Monte Carlo simulations for key stakeholders, analyzing outputs of load/generation scenarios, and determining drivers of congestion based on fundamentals.

What You Offer
- Minimum two years of relevant high-stakes trade floor experience in the power markets
- Experience running power flow software, grid optimization, shift factors, etc. – including but not limited to DAYZER, UPLAN, AURORA, POWERWORLD or PLEXOS
- Experience in any of the major electricity trading regions such as PJM/MISO/SPP/ERCOT/CAISO/Southeast
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python and SQL
- Comfortable working both in a team and independently as the job demands and possess clear and concise communication skills to present findings and conclusions to non-technical stakeholders.
